It is a salt free, preservative free chili mix that makes it a perfect choice for anyone who wants to make chili without any additives. We love the rich aroma and medium heat of this mix. You can prepare it with diced tomatoes (and add beans, but we won't tell) for a home style pot of chili, or prepare it like competition chili with tomato sauce for an equally delicious bowl of chili. You will need 2 pounds of chili grind, 1 14.5 oz can of chicken broth, 1 14.5 oz of diced tomatoes (for home style chili) or 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce (for competition style chili) and 2 tsp salt. Follow directions on package for cooking and serving this excellent chili mix! Serves 4-6.
