Dixon is grown in the same region as Hatch and it's deep ruby red color, intense heat and explosive flavor will take your chili, enchilada sauce and your macaroni and cheese (really!!) to the next level. Dixon has serious heat and should be cooked for at least 45 minutes to help bring the flavor and aroma to it's peak while taming the heat so that you are left with a mellow, well rounded heat that retains it's full flavor. Dixon works well with Hatch and RT Original chili peppers as well as any of our custom chili powder blends.
