Kelly Brignon met Tom Dozier in 2008 and mentored him beyond his 2010 TICC win. Cooking her recipe, he became a competitive force within the chili world and beat over 320 cooks when he won Terlingua. Kelly's husband Gary didn't do too bad, either. He placed 8th the same year with Kelly making it to pre-finals. This is the winning recipe blended and packaged so that all you have to do is follow the instructions and add the chili mix to 2 lbs chili grind, 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce and 1 14.5 oz can of beef and chicken broth (each) to make your own championship pot of chili.
Ingredients: Ground chili peppers, cumin, garlic, onion, salt and spices.
