The smoked version of our green Serrano powder isn't as hot and it's great for adding a smoky, roasted flavor and aroma to any dish, but is mainly used in salsas, chili and BBQ rubs. This ground chili pepper has a wonderful red color and a very earthy flavor. It differs from regular Serrano powder in that it has a more complex flavor profile. Smoked red Serrano powder is both pungent and sweet in addition to having plenty of heat.
